Veterain Assault Sqaud Astral Claws - Guy 2 - Mr. Claws

So this is guy number two from my Vet Assault Squad, he is made in much the same way as the other characters his head and body and legs are from the same kits as my other models the big difference in my vet squad is the draped fabric which I got from an high elf kit. Enjoy :)

 

Veterain Assault Sqaud Astral Claws - Guy 1 - Captain

This is the Captain for my Vet Assault Squad. He is made up of quite a few different bits, The legs are from the Blood Angles, the chest is from the command squad box, the Axe is Blood Angles same with the shoulder pad. The shield is from the Terminator box. The head is from the Chaos Fantasy kit and the plum is from the Dark Elder. Then finally an Astral Claws Shoulder pad from Forge World :)

Light that city up!!!!

So I started building terrain about a month ago for my 40k armies to play on. A good friend of mine thought I should do a winter table I am so happy he talked me into it cause it is looking amazing and it has only just started!

I will be posting pictures of the table later in the month but right now I want to talk about these lights I found today at Micheal's.

I have always wanted my table to have its own lighting for night fighting, i.e. street laps and burning fires. Luckly I found flickering candle leds at the dollar store and I just found street laps at Micheal's for a great price! I think they are a little dime but with some re wiring I have brighten them up quite a bit and made there power source a lot smaller. I will post images of how I did this later next week. For now I just want you to see a rough set up of what I am going to be building.

Astral Claws Veteran Assault Squad

This is my Astral Claws Veteran Assault Squad I did the same theme as my Assault Squad. These guys are built mostly from Blood Angles Sanguinary Guard, I will break down the bits more later in the close up shots.
